Beads and Sisters
I got a itch to make paper beads this week.
Here’s the YouTube video I learned from:
I love how they turned out.
I made this necklace for my sister who is moving this week.
Kelle and I didn’t grow up together, we didn’t even know each other until a couple of years ago.
I always knew I had an older sister but I didn’t know where she was because we’re half sisters.
We have the same dad and we were each raised by our wonderful moms.
When I was in high school I started looking for her,
but social networking wasn’t at the point where it is now.
So it wasn’t until a couple of years ago that I was searching again online
and came across some genealogy information that led me to her.
When I did contact her I found that she lives only 45 minutes away.
This is a miracle seeing as how we both started out in California
and ended up in Utah so close to one another.
We’ve had these last couple of years to get to know each other,
and even though she’s moving away to Florida I know we’ll stay close.
